Basil Chimichurri






The Garden is overflowing with basil so time for the first harvest. 
Basil Chimichurri.

• 1 cup finely packed fresh basil leaves,plus 2 sprigs of fresh oregano. 


• 3 cloves garlic, peeled

• 1/2 cup olive oil

• 2 tbsp red wine vinegar

• 1 tsp sea salt

• 1/4 tsp black pepper

• 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Add everything to a food processor and blend until smooth. 
Put in a glass jar and keep in the fridge. 
Use as a topping for grilled meat or as a marinade.
